What happens if I uninstall NextUp?

Uninstalling NextUp stops new cancellation texts, because the shop is no longer connected. Contacts, waitlist tags, and notes stay in the shop's HighLevel account. NextUp does not delete them. Appointment details are kept only while they are needed to fill a time. A consent record from the Text updates page is kept for 3 years after someone opts out, unless you email support@joinnextup.com and ask us to delete it.

What should you do when you uninstall?

Cancel the subscription in the same place you installed, the HighLevel marketplace. Nothing on the shop's contact list is wiped by the uninstall.

1. Uninstall NextUp in the HighLevel marketplace for each location you want to stop.
2. Leave contacts, waitlist tags, and notes in HighLevel. They belong to the shop.
3. Email support@joinnextup.com to ask Freeman Labs to delete a consent record.

The consent record is the wording they agreed to, the version, the time, and the page. Asking us to delete it is a separate email. Uninstalling does not send that request for you. Read Privacy for how long those records are kept.
