When a client cancels, NextUp fills the slot from your waitlist.

It texts the person who has waited longest a link to the open time. The first person to tap Accept is booked on your HighLevel calendar.

Without NextUp

Right now, a cancellation means phone calls.

Someone at the front desk scrolls back through old texts and calls people one at a time. By the time anyone calls back, the hour is gone. HighLevel's calendar has no waitlist to fall back on.

With NextUp

A cancellation fills itself.

NextUp texts your waitlist one person at a time, in the order they joined. The first person to tap Accept is booked on your calendar. Nobody has to make a call.

How it works

  1. A client cancels. NextUp texts whoever has waited longest.

Your waitlist goes in the order people joined, so nobody jumps the line by replying first.

  2. They have 15 minutes to tap Accept.

If the time runs out, the next person gets their own text.

  3. If they pass, the next person is asked.

Passing doesn't take anyone off your waitlist.

  4. The first Accept books the slot.

Only one link works at a time, so the slot can't be booked twice. An old link says the time is gone.

  5. You can see every step on the client who canceled.

NextUp leaves a note for each text, pass, and booking. If no text went out, the note says why.

Setup

  1. Install NextUp from the HighLevel marketplace.
  2. Run the Add to waitlist action on anyone who wants an earlier time.
  3. The next cancellation does the rest.

Questions

Short answers on booking, texts, and cost.

Will it double-book?

No. Only one person can take a slot at a time, and the first Accept books it.

Will it spam my clients?

No. It only texts people you put on the waitlist, one person at a time, and skips anyone who replied STOP.

What if nobody accepts?

The slot stays open, the same as today. NextUp works down the list until someone accepts or the list runs out.

What does it cost?

$19/month per location, after a 14-day free trial. Each location is billed through HighLevel. HighLevel bills the texts at its usual rate, and NextUp adds no per-text fee.

Does HighLevel have a waitlist?

Not on the calendar. NextUp adds one: the people you put on the waitlist, in the order they joined.

$19/month per location

14-day free trial. Texts go out through HighLevel for about a penny each, and NextUp adds nothing on top.
